- You're only half right. SCSI II is backward compatible with SCSI I. Any
- combination of SCSI I and SCSI II will work, but you only get SCSI II
- performance if both ends are SCSI II. SCI-II Fast is similar. You can
- use a SCSI-II Fast controller with a SCSI-I drive but you will only get
- SCSI I.
